The 375 employees working at the Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive Resort are given plenty of room for personal and professional development. “We ensure that our employees are satisfied by communicating transparently, so that they also know what is happening within the organisation,” the managers tell us. “We do everything to achieve this!” In addition, the HR Managers also think it is important that employees feel this appreciation. They do this by putting a department in the spotlight every month and thanking them for their hard work and contribution to success. “We also have an open-door policy, which lets employees know that they are always welcome with their questions and success stories. To communicate this well internally, we use Dyflexis to share our memos, newsletters and fun activities and events with everyone.”

The ultimate goal of the HR department at the resort is to create an HR platform in which the team works efficiently. They communicate clearly and transparently about work schedules. Besides planning, they also use Dyflexis to process hours worked. Through the link with the payroll system, they send the approved hours to payroll processing with a single click. Cherees and Sueyenli say it is important that employees have a good understanding of their holiday entitlements and that time-for-time hours are presented clearly. “Previously, we worked with Excel schedules and various sign-off lists. That was quite a hassle and it also sometimes resulted in mistakes or misunderstandings.”

Now, through the app, our employees can see their schedules, hours, holidays and time-for-time hours at any moment. That also gives peace of mind.” Dyflexis is a very versatile solution, according to Cherees and Sueyenli: “We are not using the reporting tool yet, but Dyflexis suits us and we are going to see how we can work even more efficiently with it in the future.”
