Ultimate hospitality: that is what SIS Leisure Group is all about. Whether you come to skydive, ski or take to the slippery ice in an Icekart, you see that hospitality everywhere. We experienced it ourselves when we plucked up the courage to jump into the wind tunnel at Indoor Skydive Roosendaal, and again during our conversation with Nicky Broos and Daniëlle Laurijsse.
As CEO and HR advisor, Nicky and Daniëlle have long been involved in the day-to-day running of SIS Leisure Group, and they are responsible for a large part of its workforce management.
Several locations
When Indoor Skydive Roosendaal, Skidôme Rucphen, Icekart Rucphen and Skidôme Terneuzen joined forces as SIS Leisure Group, Daniëlle and her colleagues increasingly needed one complete system for scheduling and time registration. Daniëlle explains: “Once we came together, there was really no other choice.” Because employees started working at different locations, a lot of questions came up.
Where do you write down your end time, and how do you get all your timesheets to the right place? Working with separate Excel files no longer solved the complex problems that came with the expansion.
“We were centralizing, and more people started working across several sites. Goodness, how are we going to handle all that administratively?”
After an extensive search, SIS Leisure Group chose Dyflexis. Following a training session for all team leaders, they got off to a flying start, or as Nicky puts it: “It was painless.” With the Dyflexis scheduling tool, every team leader now schedules their own employees, and everyone can see the schedule in the app. Hours are now registered effortlessly too.
All permanent staff and on-call workers, and even the board members, now clock in and out with the Rex-O-Matic as standard, whichever location they work at.
A major automation drive
SIS Leisure Group never stands still. Alongside a big expansion of its snow activities, a major first is also on the agenda. You can feel this in the internal operations. Both Nicky and Daniëlle spend a lot of time automating processes. On top of implementing Dyflexis, they are busy connecting the different systems.
Dyflexis is now connected to Loket.nl, the payroll software of SIS Leisure Group. This saves the finance department a lot of work: “We used to copy everything over one by one, and now it’s simply a matter of uploading.”

So what is the concrete benefit of automation? For Nicky, it is very clear: time savings. Before Dyflexis, someone at every location was busy processing hours. Now the hours worked at all locations can be processed from Daniëlle’s office in Roosendaal.

SIS Leisure Group is the umbrella organization for several unique leisure activities in the Netherlands, including Skidôme Rucphen, Skidôme Terneuzen, IceKart Rucphen and Indoor Skydive Roosendaal.
